I began teaching hoopdance in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2008, and I have loved every minute of it.  Since then, I have shared my love of hoopdance with thousands of students.  My favorite part of teaching is laughing, laughing, laughing with my students and sharing in their successes.  (I really love my students!)

I strive to provide high-quality, technical instruction that meets the needs of a wide variety of students.  My responsive, multi-modal, highly-individualized approach to hoopdance instruction is a direct result of my fourteen years of experience as a professional educator.  I create fun, positive experiences where learners of all levels feel supported in their exploration of movement.  My specialties include:  Single hoop, poi-style twin hooping, multi-hooping on the core, and teacher training.

As an instructor, I’ve had the pleasure of working with notable Bay Area establishments including Yelp, Google, UC Berkeley, and the San Francisco Public Library.
